Microneedling
Microneedling is a precisely controlled needling technique that can achieve corrective results with minimal dermal trauma. Healing is rapid, with a short “downtime” of only one day. This technique can be used successfully for the following corrective treatments:
- To decrease the depth of pitted, depressed, or shallow scars caused by acne, chicken pox, surgeries, or trauma.
- To flatten surgical scars that are raised or hypertrophic (overgrown).
- To relax and break down contracted scar tissue formed from burns or accidents that has caused limited mobility and flexibility.
- To stimulate melanin in the skin that has been compromised from previous laser treatments.
